An original signed giclée fine art print of the ‘Holy Commute’ oil painting.
A scene from inside Manchester’s famously familiar Metrolink tram system is graced with the Madonna, momentarily distracted from scrolling on her phone. She lovingly looks over Jesus and St John the Baptist, with a maternal hand on St John’s back, who holds a goldfinch. These figures have been inspired by Raphael’s painting, ‘Madonna del Cardellino’ or ‘Madonna of the Goldfinch’ (1506)
Each print is hand-signed by the artist.
